Nvidia 9600GT driver and Windows XP
hello, i bought geforce 9600gt by gigabyte , after installing windows xp sp2, and installing the driver , the system stop loading in the boot screen, and the screen freez, i dont know why that happens but plz anyone can help me to solve this , i also tried xp x64 and still the same problem exists.

Unfortunatly, you happend to pick the worst driver possible.

Try the 177.79 from here instead.

Was this a stable computer before yu put the new card in? If so is the PSU big enough to run the 9600?

Steve1077 can u explane in more details with voltage needed for the card and this is a new computer. after a successfull boot the card show me extreme quality i've tested assasin's creed on max gfx and it works fine, my problem is to make it boot every time not 1 and 10 nothing
