Quadro Graphic Driver & Quadro Performance Drive Difference
I'm planning to update the graphic cards driver of our company.
But I do not understand what is the real differecen between
both drivers below:

1-Quadro Graphic Driver:
Quadro Release 169 WHQL
Version: 169.96
Release Date: June 6, 2008
Operating System: Windows XP/2000
Language: U.S. English
File Size: 35.9 MB

2-Quadro Performance Driver
Quadro 175 WHQL
Version: 175.51
Release Date: April 30, 2008
Operating System: Windows XP/2000
Language: U.S. English
File Size: 37.1 MB

Could someone explain it to me ?

Cheers

I am also in a similar situation and would like to know the difference between the 'graphic' and 'performance' drivers. I'm not interested in an answer like 'the graphic driver is better quality while the performance driver sacrifices some quality for a performance gain'. I'd like to know the details on what's actually going on. I've read through the release notes for both drivers and there was no information there.

Thanks,
Charles

Performance would be Gaming
Graphic would be 3D rendering.

Here's the response I got from NVIDIA Customer Care:

Hello Charles,

Thank you for contacting NVIDIA Customer Care.

This is Anupama and I will be assisting you regarding your query. I understand from your email that you have a Quadro NVS 440 graphics card installed in your system and you would like to know the difference between the 'graphic' and 'performance' drivers.

The difference between the 'graphic' and 'performance' drivers is that the performance driver includes the AutoCAD and 3DS MAX driver but they are not supported by the Quadro NVS series of cards as they do not support 3D applications. A Performance Driver is a specialized optimized driver for newer workstation programs. It may not be as stable as the Graphics Driver but should perform better with newer workstation programs.

Please feel free to contact us for any further clarifications.
