UT2004 stuttering GONE with 177 - confirmed
  1 / 4
Just thought I`d let all the fellow sufferers know that the 177.26 at the link below, seems to have solved the stuttering in UT2004 with XP for me. I installed the drivers, fired up Trainingday with 9 bots, and it looks very smooth.

XP 32 only.

Good luck guys, hope it works, it seems to do for me.

I replaced the inf, installed the drivers, fired up Trainingday with 6 bots, and it looks very smooth.

There`s a modded inf file that will make this work for all cards, hopefully:

Glad to see it's working for you /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> . Everyone chime in and let us know if this driver really does fix it.

Hmmm Maybe too many people are trying to download it, or it may even have been removed because there are inf modded versions up already. Try the second one with the modded inf, it`s coming down about 100 KB/s when I test it. I`ll edit my first post. I`ll try and find some more hosts if I can.

Winrar will. If you don`t have that, try this free one:

http://www.7-zip.org/

They used this format because it can compress a bit better than Winzip or Winrar.

yeah i figured that out and downloaded that already, and then I removed my original drivers and ran setup, it didn't work, it says it can't find any drivers that are compatible with my hardware instantly after loading. I extracted the file to my desktop. any ideas?

If true then Jun 08 marks the end of a long journey, a journey started in Nov 06.

I expected these drivers were coming soon as the GT200 launch is just days away and AFAIK the drivers will ship with it.

I've waited this long so I'll wait for an nVidia official beta/WHQL as I don't like using leaked drivers.

For those that tried them, do they fix issues in other games like Ravenshield and Call of Duty/UO?

I can't get it to install :( Maybe the problem is that I have 8800GT, but thats usually never been a problem... If it is, any links for the driver for xp 32 bit 8800gt?

Hopefully they are released as beta drivers soon, as many people around are suggesting that they will...

Hmmm I have a 8800GT too. Maybe the uploader didn`t mod the inf file properly or something. I`m uploading the version I used to a hosting site, will provide the link once it`s finished. Sorry about the hassle, the one I`m uploading works for sure.

It`s only just to put your mind at ease that the stuttering has been finally fixed, so after trying you may want to revert to your previous drivers, cos these leaked ones my have some other issues.
