The 6800GT comes in both PCI-E and AGP. Originally it was an AGP card but later some were made for PCI-E.

im talking about the seperate power lead some cards have a normal molex and others have pcie power connector

and its the pcie card im on about :)

He means , by what manufacturer, such as BFG , XFX, EVGA. If earlier 6800GTs had molex connections on PCI-E cards then yes the exact model is necessary.
