Help! I can't install nvidia display driver on windows 10
Hi, i've been experiencing problems with nvidia drivers basically, 1) Whenever i try to install nvidia graphics driver, my computer blacks out, restarts 2) i am able to install graphics driver on safe mode but if i have it installed, my computer doesn't boot normally. not even windows autorepair would work. At this point, i must somehow boot into safe mode, DDU away nvidia driver and reboot. I have posted the same question on https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/help-i-cant-install-nvidia-display-driver-on/7da1788a-f458-43e0-9217-7b83fadbe758? and no solution was found. Hence i have decided to try here. I have posted my system information and the steps that i took to try to resolve this issue over in the link. If you can help, please take a look at the link i've posted. Thanks

Did this start right after you did the new Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update, by chance? Seemingly everybody (myself included) has had nightmarish experiences when updating to the latest 388.43 driver version.

I believe so. The problem for me has been reproducible. However, even after a clean installation of windows ver 1703 on my desktop, i still face the same problem...

    Power Supply Make and Model?

    .

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours. But if your using the LATEST drivers, go back to the prior set.

Piss Poor tech support blame all issues on drivers and assumes that your an idiot. Find a set that you know worked and see if the problem exists still.

""Don't f with it if it ain't broken!""
Constantly updating drivers is a good way to F'up the whole system.

If the driver has an issue, don't be a fool, remove it.

Just because you can, does not mean you should.
