Replacement for GTX 580 Anarchy
Hi My card has failed. What is nearest equivalent to the GTX 580 Anarchy please? My main (demanding) use is Flight Sim X (with some scenery add-ons) and 580 worked perfectly fine. Thanks in advance, H

What is the make and model# of your motherboard? (This will determine which generation of GPU your system can recognize) The modern equivalent would be the entry level GTX-1050 in terms of "gaming" output performance. (Effective rendering speed @ 1080p) while consuming 225% less power. However; I would HIGHLY suggest the 1060 due to the sheer amount of performance boost over the 1050ti for only a $100 extra investment. GT1030- -40% (~$85) GTX750- -30% (~$99) GTX1050- +8% (~$129) GTX1050ti- +38% (~$169) GTX1060 6Gb- +135% (~$259) GTX1070- +229% (~$429) GTX1070ti- +277% (~$479) GTX1080- +310% (~$499) GTX1080ti- +401% (~$729) (GTX1070 and higher are currently showing an increase in price of approx. 20% due to the data mining craze)
Asus skt-1155 p8z68-v lx
You're good! The entire P8 line of motherboards has support for the more modern UEFI cards ;) Well the 1050 has the "Same" output as your 580 does and is currently listed for £100. However; I would "at least" recommend the 1050ti 4Gb @ £120 or the 1060 3Gb @ £179. If you wish to install the more heavy graphics/texture mods and are running at a resolution of 1080p or greater; then the 1060 6Gb (£220) would the the optimal choice. -Link to listings
