Please make an clock/temp show tool for pascal gpu types running OS X
There is an tool, HWMONITOR (combination of an GPU.kext and Tool) which can read clock & temp from Nvidia GPUs - but only up to maxwell gpu type, not pascal. For checking AGPM (Apple GPU Powermanagent) correct working and GPU not run in idle all time (or most time) such an tool for pascal gpu on OS X would be great. The tool, other than on windows must NOT have any tweak/OC function - simple show temp & clock speed. EDIT: I looked around and found that NVIDIA has an tool nvidia-smi which shows lot of real time information (clock, temp,...) but its for Linux/Win only. Mac OS X can use CUDA. Is there any chance to get at least the gpu clock rate from here? for my knowledge there is only an (STATIC) GPU Max Clock rate available : ... deviceQuery Starting... CUDA Device Query (Runtime API) version (CUDART static linking) Detected 1 CUDA Capable device(s) Device 0: "GeForce GT 1030" CUDA Driver Version / Runtime Version 9.0 / 9.0 CUDA Capability Major/Minor version number: 6.1 Total amount of global memory: 2048 MBytes (2147155968 bytes) ( 3) Multiprocessors, (128) CUDA Cores/MP: 384 CUDA Cores GPU Max Clock rate: 1519 MHz (1.52 GHz) Memory Clock rate: 3004 Mhz Memory Bus Width: 64-bit L2 Cache Size: 524288 bytes There is no GPU actual clock rate in CUDA?
