Preventing double posts
I tried to make a post and was returned an error (something about the server not responding in time) so I hit the back button and submitted it again. I now see that the original submission went through so I have posted the same subject twice. Humans as abundant as they are have encountered this situation many times before and some have implemented solutions to prevent this from happening on various forums. I suggest copying this and other advances made without waiting for a particular user to take the time and a portion of their limited motivation to point it out (because most of the time they cannot be bothered).
