Since 385. versions I get black screen, game crashing - in minutes. I seem to have found a stable version - 382.53 - but not it start getting to old for some new games - PES 2018, F1 2017, FIFA18. For example, I am not able to play FIFA 18 as I cannot enter any game, get stuck in the menus, even though the game is still running (images moving, audio being played). If I install the oldest needed, 385.28, I get a lot of crashing, black screen and I cannot use my PC at all (not even 385.69 helped). There are also flickering images (for example when starting some TV flash players on browsers) which do not happen in older versions. This happened on both, Windows 8.1 (latest updates) and Windows 10 (latest updates) others specs: Mother board: ASROCK z87 extreme3 CPU: Intel i5 - 4670K, 3.4 GHz Video: GeForce GTX 760 Phantom Gainward (2GB) Memory: 8GB I saw a lot of reports after 385. but until now, no clear statement. It seems very strange to be hardware or other application related as it started happening to a lot of users after this branch. Is there any Windows update detected as problematic for the video driver? Are there investigations still in progress on this topic?
