If yours lovely game's folder contains folder named "GameName_Data" and version in properties of game's executable file begins with less than 5.5 this means I can try to fix it with DarkStarSword's template. Reply here with name of the game

Unity 5.5 can contain 17 version of *.assets. May be later I'll try to update DSS's scripts. But I'm database SQL and C# programmer and almost newb in python and linux. And at first look python is very 'strange' language.

Python has a couple of funny aspects (like multiple return values from functions), but overall it's just syntax. For these scripts, it's not the python part that is hard. To get it working with container 17, the problem is knowing what happened in the Unity container and working out the offsets. You can use the container 15 code as a good copy/paste template, but it clearly needs some tweaks to match the new 17 format. Not sure where sgsrules is at with his Unity stereo plugin, but that will also be a possible way to fix nearly all Unity games. I'll ping him.

C# also uses multiple return values from functions through arguments with "out" modificator. I haven't understood what means 'IBHBB' and '4IiHhI' in below mentioned lines without reading documentation
(u2, u3, unknown_table_len, u6, u7) = struct.unpack('<IBHBB', file.read(9))

(id, u1, offset, size, type1, type2, type3, u2) = struct.unpack('<4IiHhI', file.read(28))
but my intuition says to me that this is data types of variables so in first line builted in python function struct.unpack() returns 5 values in variables and 5 symbols in pattern 'IBHBB' and pattern in second line '4IiHhI' is equal to 'IIIIiHhI'. But if I = 32 bit integer, i = 16 bit integer, B = byte then what is H and h? And, yes, 17 version of assets may be only first problem in Unity 5.5. Even in 5.4. that code
texture_type = { 2: '2D', 3: '3D', 4: 'CUBE', }[texture_type]
sometimes have returned error on 5: 'mysterious' texture_type. So I had to add something like this to let DSS's scripts to go to the finish
texture_type = { 2: '2D', 3: '3D', 4: 'CUBE', 5: 'CUBE', }[texture_type]
It will definitely need to be modified for rev 17.

Layers of Fear would be a good one to fix. helifx fixed it previously when the game files included both dx11 and OpenGL shaders. The developers removed the OpenGL shaders in a patch, thus leaving the latest version of the game broken. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/891735/3d-vision/layers-of-fear-3d-vision-support-thread-unity-5-opengl-/4/ http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2016/03/layers-of-fear-3d-vision-fix-opengl.html

Blacksmith56 was working on a fix for The Gate of Firmament, but ran into a couple of problems. Perhaps you could look at it. http://store.steampowered.com/app/427030/

Blackwood Crossing uses Unity, I recently added it to my Steam wishlist and have no idea how bad or good it is, nor do I know the Unity version #. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/809236/3d-vision/obscure-indie-games/post/5167206/#5167206 " Blackwood Crossing is something truly beautiful, a wonderful vignette of joy and sadness" https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2017/04/11/blackwood-crossing-review/

Not sure what version of Unity, but my vote goes to (DHR - apologies for overplaying my hand here)... Mages of Mystrallia. Fantastic Action RPG and worth every penny. The whole time I was at E3 this week, I was marking time 'til I could get home and resume play. I will purchase the game for whichever technical wizard has the time/desire if no one else is playing/wants to contribute.

Oh... and D-Man... I have played Blackwood... more story than game. Nice... but if you get a chance to play Mages (and like the genre), it is at another level.
