Bug: Please fix mouse pointer / mouse cursor with 5k displays issue in Sierra 10.12
  3 / 3
Going to bump this again as several driver releases have occurred and the bug is still not fixed. I'll add that while the cursor is more reliably the correct icon in "Looks like 3800x1200", it still is far from perfect. The placement of the cursor still appears to be offset, so selecting edges (to resize elements in a tool like Photoshop or to resize OS windows) is unreliable. Please fix this soon.

I'll second that! Zotac 1080 and Dell 5k display here - same problem - sometimes flipping scaled resolutions help. Nvidia, please help!

Im done waiting for the fix, the day High Sierra comes out I'm getting my hands on one of those iMac Pro Video Cards and put this irritating issue behind me.

Bumping this again because I unfortunately don't want to switch from Nvidia hardware, but if this doesn't start working I might be forced to. Please fix it!

What about 378.10.10.10.15.117 for High Sierra supplemental update (17A405)? I haven't noticed the problem yet. Wish they had release notes so I can know when to stop complaining.

Guys I don't know if this helps everyone or it's just me, but I noticed a strange new behavior in my setup. The bug would appear immediatly at startup or wouldn't appear at all. SO I installed obviously web drivers, Cudas (even though still not up to date), then I removed the pointer shaker accessibility feature. Then plugged my nVidia GTX 1060 with the dual DP to the monitor. And a third DP to the mDP of the monitor. I startup the system in 4K (mDP), then switch to 5K, power off and on the monitor, switch to 4K, login, switch to 5K, and I don't have the bug. It's a pain in the ass, but still I haven't experienced it since.
